BroadSoft Names James Angelone as Regional Head of Sales in Korea

Appointment to Bolster Service Providers’ Expansion into Korean Residential Services

GAITHERSBURG, MD, April 15, 2008 - BroadSoft Inc., a leading provider of VoIP application software, today named James Angelone regional vice president of Sales for Korea. The appointment of Angelone, a 25-year telecom veteran, comes as BroadSoft's service provider customers begin to extend their VoIP services to the Korean residential market.

Angelone has lived in Korea for nearly 20 years, and has held executive leadership positions, including roles in sales, marketing, channel management, sales operations and joint ventures. He has worked for AT&T-Networks/Lucent Technologies, where he managed international telecommunications and broadband networking sales for both service provider and enterprise markets. Over the course of his career, Angelone has delivered more than $1 billion in sales.

Angelone comes to BroadSoft from PacketFront AB, a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology and next-generation broadband aggregation solutions vendor. As vice president of sales, Angelone led the Asia-Pacific regional sales and marketing expansion efforts that established PackFront AB's subsidiary operations in Korea and Japan. He was also the co-founder of a marketing and sales consulting group that helps businesses establish and grow in Korea and throughout Asia.
