Robert Weidenfeller

Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Robert Weidenfeller serves BroadSoft with more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining BroadSoft, Robert was Nortel's director, Next Generation Architecture, with responsibilities for bringing next generation voice and data concepts to market. He previously served as director of R&D for Nortel's GSM Switching Products.. Robert also spent several years supporting Nortel Networks' installed base of carrier switches, followed by three years in France creating and managing the global deployment and support organization for Nortel Matra Cellular's (a joint venture between Nortel Networks and Matra Communications) GSM product line.
