Jonathan Reid
Vice President, APAC
Jonathan Reid has close to 20 years of international business development and sales experience in several industries, including software and telecommunications. He joins BroadSoft after serving as the managing director of APAC for Sylantro Systems Corp., where he drove business development and led APAC activities, including establishing a regional headquarters in China. Prior to Sylantro, he led business development initiatives at softswitch provider Syndeo Corp.
Before working in high-tech start-ups, Jonathan performed venture capital and strategy consulting at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He has worked and lived throughout Asia Pacific for more than a decade.

- Education: B.S. in Engineering and a MBA from France’s INSEAD
- Favorite Tech Gadget: Garmin Forerunner 405 (GPS watch)
- Favorite Hobbies: Anything outdoors
- Languages Spoken: Limited French and Spanish; smatterings of Chinese and Japanese
- Travel: On schedule to break two million air-miles, Jonathan has lived in 12 countries and worked in more than 50.
- Not Everyone Knows: When Jonathan was 18 years old, he hitch-hiked 25,000 miles, the circumference of the earth. Jonathan worked on the technology strategy teams of Tony Blair and Al Gore during their respective runs for public office.
