David Bukovsky

Vice President, Products

As Vice President of Products, David Bukovsky is responsible for all product management and product marketing, including BroadWorks, M6 and Synergy. David oversees BroadSoft’s application strategy and solutions for business and consumer communications. His management duties include product strategy, roadmap, architecture, extensibility and solution partners as well as competitiveness and pricing. David is also responsible for educating service providers, sales teams, partners and channels in these areas.

Bringing over 20 years of invaluable industry knowledge to BroadSoft, David has been involved in Voice over data since the early nineties and Voice over IP since the mid- nineties. Prior to BroadSoft, David was with Cisco Systems, where he became a pioneer in service provider softswitch and SIP applications. Here he led Cisco’s service provider voice solutions and products including the managed and hosted Call Manager solutions (now called Unified Communications Manager), the market insertion of the PGW Softswitch in 500 carriers around the world and the delivery of the voice over broadband solution for cable providers such as Time Warner and Comcast.

Before joining Cisco, David held management positions in engineering, operations, technology planning, marketing and program management for Bell Atlantic (now Verizon). He started his career as an engineer at IBM.
