CINCINNATI BELL SELECTS BROADSOFT'S LEADING VOIP APPLICATION SOFTWARE TO POWER NEW CB1 BUNDLED SERVICES

Cincinnati Bell Leverages BroadWorks Platform to Introduce New Wireless and Wireline Service Offerings for Enterprise Customers

GAITHERSBURG, MD, November 8, 2006 - BroadSoft, Inc., the leading provider of Voice over IP application software, today announced that Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) has selected BroadSoft's BroadWorks® VoIP platform to deliver its new, high-value VoIP bundled services. Marketed as CB1, Cincinnati Bell is using this application software to deliver a suite of IP trunking services to enterprises in Greater Cincinnati and Dayton.

CB1 is a converged voice and data communications package of business class services, powered by VoIP technology. To meet the needs of small- and medium-size businesses, CB1 combines local phone service, long distance, high-speed Internet access, Web hosting, email, and conferencing into a single, integrated solution. The service provides enterprise customers with new capabilities, including:

· Dynamic bandwidth allocation - when voice conversations are not in progress all bandwidth is made available for data applications
· Advanced Services - complement premises equipment with network services like Auto Attendant, ACD and mulit-site abbreviated dialing
