BROADSOFT REACHES 200TH CUSTOMER MILESTONE
Continued Growth Worldwide, Channel Partner Wins,
and Leading-Edge Technology Builds BroadSoft Customer Community
GAITHERSBURG, MD, October 13 2006 - BroadSoft, Inc., a leading
provider of VoIP application software, today announced that 200
customers now use its BroadWorks® platform. BroadSoft is the
first company in the VoIP application software market to reach this
important milestone following the addition of 15 new customers from
across the globe in the third quarter of 2006. BroadSoft's customer
community includes global wireline, wireless, and cable operators,
as well as regional competitive carriers, wholesalers and ISPs across
the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific.
Underscoring its strong global position, BroadSoft now counts among
its customers 12 of the top 25 carriers worldwide and 11 of the
top 25 carriers in the United States. These carriers have selected
the BroadWorks VoIP application platform for both business and residential
markets, delivering hosted PBX, mobile PBX, residential broadband,
and business trunking capabilities to meet the various demands of
these end users.
