BroadSoft Completes Interoperability Testing with Nortel Softswitch

Achieves Nortel "Compatible Product" Status

GAITHERSBURG, MD, September 12, 2005 - BroadSoft, the leading provider of VoIP application software, announced today that the BroadSoft®BroadWorks® VoIP application platform was awarded a Certificate of Compatibility from Nortel. BroadWorks Release 11.1 and 12.0, was awarded this certificate after completing laboratory SIP interoperability testing with Nortel's Communication Server (CS) 2000 (software release SN07 and SN08) and will now carry the Nortel Compatible Product designation.

BroadWorks provides a comprehensive range of advanced applications, including hosted PBX, IP Centrex, mobile PBX, business trunking and residential broadband services fully integrated into a single VoIP application platform.
