Unient Signs Contract to Deploy BroadWorks® for Hosted PBX and IP Centrex in the Czech Republic

GAITHERSBURG, MD, June 3, 2003 -- BroadSoft®Inc., the leading provider of hosted communications platforms, today announced a new international customer deployment of its award-winning BroadWorks® platform. Unient Communications a.s, a leading European reseller of technology solutions based in the Czech Republic, will expand its telecommunications service portfolios to include BroadWorks-based Hosted PBX and IP Centrex offerings.

With the addition of Unient Communications a.s. to its global customer base, BroadSoft now has an international presence in Asia, Australia, and Europe. BroadSoft has announced 17 customers worldwide with over 30 total who are using the award-winning BroadWorks system, further establishing its market leadership with the most customers in its market segment.

Unient Communications a.s, a leading Central European reseller of technology solutions, will broaden its telecommunications portfolio by offering Hosted PBX and IP Centrex services to customers in Central Europe. Unient has already begun trials with two CLECs in the Czech Republic and will continue to expand by distributing BroadWorks to other carriers in the Central and Eastern European markets.
