BROADSOFT AND EVEREST BROADBAND NETWORKS ANNOUNCE CONTRACT FOR
DEPLOYMENT OF BROADWORKS-ENABLED ENHANCED VOICE SERVICES
Everest will use BroadSoft's Industry-Leading BroadWorks
to Deliver Unique, Customized Packet-Based Services to the Small
to Medium-Sized Enterprise Market

BroadSoft, Inc., the leader in voice applications and servers, and
Everest Broadband Networks, a Metropolitan Broadband Services Provider
serving businesses in North America, today announced that Everest
has signed a contract to use BroadSoft's BroadWorks to add voice
services to its portfolio of enhanced services. Everest plans to
begin rolling out BroadWorks-based voice services in Q2 2002.

Everest Broadband Networks is a long term survivor in today's telecommunications

interfaces that simplify configuration and management of services

year, BroadSoft announced contracts with five service provider customers
who are currently deploying BroadWorks-based services to their enterprise
