GAITHERSBURG, MD, January 22, 2001 — BroadSoft, Inc., the leading provider of service delivery systems for next-generation telephony services, announced today that its BroadWorks™ service delivery system has been awarded Product of the Year in the category of Next Generation Networks and Services/Enhanced Services by Communications Solutions™, a leading communications industry publication. The annual award is designed to honor innovative products and services that have advanced the convergence of voice and data during the previous year.

BroadSoft was the first to announce a comprehensive enhanced delivery system of packet-based business services.
